Coach's Corner 3
I am so proud of all of our swimmers for bringing us a win in this weekend's meet! It was such a great meet and it was fun to see all of the Neptune spirit! Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers for making it run so smoothly!
I would like to give a special shout out to our first swimmers of the week for this season, Addy Woodward and Jacob McCabe. These swimmers had great swims at both the intersquad and the dual meet and continuously showed good sportsmanship and team spirit! Good job Addy and Jacob :)
Us coaches are looking forward to the fun week ahead! A reminder that we have our first clinics tomorrow night beginning at 7 and 8, if your swimmer is signed up please have them bring their money to the clinic or beforehand. Don't hesitate to contact me with any comments or questions!

We had a great first week of practices last week and are looking forward to our first week of morning practices, the kickoff dinner, the intersquad meet, and our first dual meet against Sundance this week! Wednesday's intersqaud meet will be a great way to start the season, the meet program and event lists are posted under the website's meet/event schedule. You will also be able to find the meet results here after it is scored.
In regards to Saturday's meet against Sundace Hills, when we opened the meet the relay options were not listed. It has been corrected but we need you to please log back in and select your availability for relays. Each family is only required to work one shift per meet!
Also, a friendly reminder that children under 10 are not allowed at the pool without adult supervision outside of their practice time.
Let me know if you have any questions concerning the upcoming week or swim team in general!
I can't believe that swim team has officially started!! I am Molly Smith, I am excited to be the head coach of Cherry Knolls again this year! I will be sending out a "Coach's Corner" email every Monday in order to recap the previous week and provide information on anything else going on with the team! I am always happy to answer any questions or concerns that arise throughout the season, so do not hesitate to contact me!
We are all crossing our fingers that the weather improves this week so that we can actually get all of the swimmers in the water! It was great to see all of the swimmers that practiced today and we are looking forward to seeing everyone else tomorrow! We can't wait for another great season for the team!
P.S. Don't forget to sign up for the inter-squad meet by Thursday!!!
First thing's first, please make sure you sign up for this weekend's meet by Tuesday (tomorrow) at10 p.m.! If your swimmer will not be able to attend the meet then please sign them out! We will not be calling or emailing families that have not signed up this week so make sure you have registered by the deadline. We will do our best to put everyone in a relay this week if numbers allow.
Our first dual meet went great! We may not have won with points but we definitely won with spirit! It was so fun to see everyone cheering each other on during the meet! Thank you to everyone who helped make the meet go smoothly.
Congratulations to our swimmers of the week Mae Bryant and Connor Dreiling!!
This Thursday is Swim-a-Lap! The forms for it are on the website so please have your swimmer start raising money for it! It will be a great way to get some practice in as well!
