The weather is looking great for after school practices starting TOMORROW! Our terrific coaching team has a fun first week planned Monday-Thursday.

REGISTER ON MAY 23-25 FOR INTERSQUAD MEET

Sign-up for the May 30 evening Neptunes-only Intersquad meet and volunteer jobs starting Wednesday, May 23, at noon through Friday, May 25 at 10 p.m. Practice Squad and Swim Team can take part, and each participating family is required to volunteer for a shift. If your swimmer can't attend, we need you to please log-in to your Swimtopia account by May 25 to sign your swimmer OUT.

New this year: you'll see green MEET and JOB sign-up buttons at the top of the homepage. Click to sign-up by the deadline. Do this early for best job selection!

AFTER SCHOOL PRACTICE SCHEDULE: MONDAY-THURSDAY, MAY 21-24

• 3:15-4:20 p.m. – 13-18
• 4:15-4:50 p.m. – 6 and under
• 4:45-5:20 p.m. – 7-8
• 5:15-5:50 p.m. – 9-10
• 5:45-6:30 p.m – 11-12

You are expected to follow these Rules of Practice. If it’s below 60 degrees or there’s thunder/lightning, coaches have alternate activities planned for team building, so please attend (we know it’s a BUSY week!). Check website for up-to-date information daily.

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS

If you are unable to fulfill your social/fundraising event shifts, we require that you find your own replacement. See the list of volunteers for each event, so you can reach out to trade with others (and then let us know). Please do NOT email the entire team looking for a sub! If you can’t remember what you are signed up for, access "my account" in Swimtopia and click parent names.

COMING UP NEXT WEEK...

SIGN-UP FOR FIRST SEASON MEET: JUNE 2 AT BEN FRANKLIN

Sign-up opens Sunday, May 28, at noon through Tuesday, May 29, at 10 p.m. (Green buttons will be on the homepage.)

KIDS-ONLY KICK-OFF DINNER: TUESDAY, MAY 29

All Swim Team and Practice Squad members attend this kids only event at the pool/Cherry Field with the coaches from 5:30-7 p.m. Dinner will be served, and there won't swimming - no suits required.

ALL PARENT MEETING: TUESDAY, MAY 29

At Cherry Field at 6 p.m. during the kids-only kick-off dinner. You can pick-up Out of Breath orders and t-shirts.

INTERSQUAD MEET: WEDNESDAY, MAY 30, AT 4:30-7:30 PM (SET-UP AT 2:30 PM; WARM-UP AT 4 PM)

Meet set-up begins at 2:30 p.m. for the 4:30 p.m. start. Meet ends approx. 7 p.m. If meet must be cancelled due to weather it will not be rescheduled. Although we will be timing swimmers – times will not be recorded, no ribbons will be awarded, and no pool or league records can be broken.

KIDNAP BREAKFAST - SHHHH!

Please keep the date a surprise! Kids love this event every year when older swimmers “kidnap” 10 & Unders (morning of June 6). They will surprise younger kids, hopefully waking them from bed, and bring them to the pool (in their PJs!) for a morning of donuts and fun. If you do not want your child picked up or if you will NOT be in town, please email Holly Gant at [email protected].
