The parent reps and coaches are excited to announce the opportunity for Cherry Knolls swimmers to participate in a 6 week modified Swim Camp with our 5 regular coaches! We were not expecting to be able to offer this opportunity but are thrilled we have the chance to get our Cherry Knolls swimmers back in the pool and with their coaches! We have secured two evenings a week and have the potential for a third evening for this camp. Please know we will be abiding by all current CDC and tri-county health regulations and guidelines. We have included the link below to register, please complete the registration by Tuesday, June 16 at 11:59pm. We appreciate your patience throughout this entire process as we just finally got the go ahead from RMSL and USA swimming for more than 10 people, including coaches, present!

Things we know:

• Secured evenings are Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30pm-9:30pm, with a potential third evening. Younger kids will be scheduled for the earliest sessions.
• Coaches will be coaching from the deck and will not be getting in the water. Your child MUST be able to swim unassisted the length of the pool to participate.
• Depending on the number of participants we are looking to hold 30 - 45 minute sessions and we anticipate your swimmer(s) will be able to swim both evenings. Without knowing the level of interest we reserve the right to make the necessary changes to make this fair and successful.
• All ages are welcome to participate however, your child MUST be able to swim unassisted across the length of the pool, coaches will not be in the water. IF coaches feel that a child is unsafe in the water (because of their ability), you will be refunded your registration fee of $75.
• Based on current regulations we can accommodate up to 3 swimmers per lane during each session (15 total swimmers per session). *Please see diagram at the bottom
• You must be a current pool member to participate.
• We anticipate we will begin the week of June 22 and end on July 31.
• The fee to participate is $75.00. That fee covers the entire 6 week season. The fee will not be prorated for being out of town, illness, or for any reason.
• Parents will NOT be allowed beyond the pool entrance gates. You must drop your child off ready to swim.
• Facilities will not be available to us during this time: no bathrooms, showers, or changing areas--please be sure your child is ready to swim upon arrival at the pool!
• Between sessions appropriate cleaning and disinfecting will occur.
• Swimmers will enter through the main gate and exit through the gate near the dumpsters.
• There will be no social events.
• There will be no RMSL swim meets.
• There will be no parent volunteer obligations to be met this year.

Things we don’t know:

• If, when, or which the third evening would be.
• Swimmer groupings: we are anticipating we will group by age though, we will not know until after the registration process. We may need to combine or split certain age groups to fill sessions appropriately.
