Good Morning Neptune Nation,

End on a high note we did, that’s what we’re talking about! The final score via Swimmingly was CK 452, WC2 340, we wahooed the Wahoos. A HUGE congratulations goes to Finn Ahl-Hinson in the 13-14’s for breaking a record from 2013 in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:07.56 previously 109.16 and Wyatt Eikenbary in the 9-10’s breaking an over 30 year record from 1990 in the 50 Back with a time of 44.93 previously 46.09, holy cow! The end of season banquet was a nice way to honor our swimmers, coaches and all the volunteers who worked hard to make this season happen. We couldn’t have done it without each and every family contributing and let’s not forget we’re still living in a pandemic world. A special thank you to Alli Jones for organizing the banquet again for the fourth year running.

Upcoming Events:

• Monday July 12th-Finals Practice starts, practice schedule has been posted on the website under schedules.
• Friday July 16th-RMSL Virtual Finals “Championship Under the Stars” @ 6:30pm. Even if you aren’t participating we would love to have you come down and cheer on the swimmers! If you are interested in purchasing a meal for non swimmers at the event sign up here Dinner for Finals

Business:

• The Coaches Tip Jar is live on the website. The website accepts contributions in $10 increments and will be divided evenly between head coach Daniel and assistant coaches Mack, Sadie, Hannah, and Caleb. If you enjoyed your time on the team please consider making a contribution. We will also accept contributions to the red CKST mailbox through July 17th.
• We want your feedback! We know your suits are barely dry but we would love to hear your comments good and bad about the 2021 season. Your feedback will help us improve as parent reps, coaches and a team. 2021 CKST End of Season Survey Please complete by 7/31.
• If you have pictures from the season and would like to post them to the swim team bulletin board in the back hall, feel free! It needs a little jazzing up!
• If you ordered a new swim cap from Out of Breath Sports this season and it already ripped please email the parent reps at [email protected]. Some of us had bad luck with our swim caps and are wondering if there are more of you out there.
