Good Morning Neptune Nation,

We are really on the home stretch now, time to dig in and finish the season strong. Pull Cherry Knolls swim parents, pull! It is a time for reflection after every meet, what did we learn and what would we do differently? No doubt it was long and cold and we are definitely glad it is behind us. No meet next weekend due the the 4th of July holiday! Relax and have fun with friends and family but don’t forget to set a reminder on your phone. Meet entry for our last meet against Forest Park will open on Sunday July 3rd @12pm and close Tuesday July 5th @ 10pm.

To follow up on what was said by the RMSL Board in the Friday night meet email-Remember the mission: Cherry Knolls Neptunes is a neighborhood summer club swim team that teaches swimming and life skills. We aim to provide a fun environment that fosters team building and improvement while encouraging bravery and sportsmanship.We promote CK community pride. We serve kids ages 5-18 who can successfully swim one lap unassisted. Swimmers' families shall be in good standing with the pool and swim team.

New & Old Business:

• Swim-A-Lap-Collect those donations and turn them into the red CKST mailbox at the pool ASAP, deadline June 29th to be eligible to win a prize.
• Monday June 27th 11 & Up Messy Games at Cherry Field 7:30-8:30pm, NO morning land practice for the 11 & Up age groups on Monday. Kids need to come ready to get messy on Monday night. Regular morning land practice schedule for 10 & Unders on Monday.
• Tuesday June 28th-Is pizza your favorite food? Take Out Tuesday at Parry’s Pizza Southglenn 5-9pm.
• Thursday June 30th-The best family dinner night of the season hosted by the swim team. Come out and enjoy a meatball sub dinner and support our team. Please RSVP to help us determine how many people to expect: Family Night Meatball Sub Dinner Menu: meatball subs, salad, chips and dessert!We are looking for 13 & Up volunteers to help, please text Missy Crew 720.338.0757 if your teen would be willing to help.
• Team Slideshow: Submit two photos of your swimmer to the google drive CKST Slideshow 2022 by June 30th
• 4th of July- It’s baaaaacccccckkkkkk at the pool and we are still looking for volunteer help. 4th of July Sign Up Perhaps you know a teen who could help? We are looking for 13 & Up volunteers to help, please text Missy Crew 720.338.0757 Thank you
• Looking for private lessons? Private Lessons - Cherry Knolls Swim Team
• Team & Individual Pictures will be available in Family Folders around the 5th of July.
• Rocky Mountain Swim League Finals T-Shirt-If you are interested in ordering a shirt, please visit the online store. Order deadline June 28th RMSL Finals Online Store Parent Reps will pick up at the store and get shirts to families.
• Keep in mind your swimmer can earn two certificates at the end of the season banquet: 1) All Events Award: Butterfly, Back, Breast and Free (for successfully swimming every event in their age group). 2) IM Awesome Award (for successfully swimming the IM for the first time). These certificates are a great motivator for kids, tell your swimmer.

A huge thank you to all our swimmers who participated in Swim-A-Lap, you continue to blow us away by how many laps you can swim in one hour. A big thank you to Swim-A-Lap chair and second year swim parent Amanda Parsons, she did a fantastic job planning, organizing and executing our biggest fundraiser. To all the Swim-A-Lap volunteers, thank you for showing up and counting those laps or serving breakfast.

Did you come to Pirates Cove, did you have a good time? Was it a do again? We will see you again next year! Thank you for coming out and sharing this fun evening with us, it was lovely to have such warm weather this year.
