Good Morning Neptune Nation,

4 swim meets down and 1 more to go before prelims and finals. We are really on the home stretch now, let’s finish the season strong. It has been a crazy week with a tornado & hail followed by 2 hrs of fun at pirates cove. A huge thank you to Janette Hoskinson who organized pirates cove and kept us all up to date on the event with the weather. We then topped off the week with a sunny and warm tri-meet on Saturday. Way to go Neptunes!

There is NO swim meet next weekend July 1st due to the 4th of July holiday! Relax and have fun with friends and family!

Don’t forget the meet entry for our last meet at Willow Creek II will open on Sunday July 2nd @12pm and closes Tuesday July 4th @ 10pm.

PRELIM ENTRY IS OPEN STARTING TODAY SUNDAY JUNE 25TH AT NOON AND CLOSE ON THURSDAY JUNE 29TH! We strongly encourage all who are in town and free to swim for prelims to sign up. If you do prelims you MUST be available to swim in finals. This is a great experience and the kids all have a great time! If you have questions about prelims reach out to Sadie, Caleb or a parent rep. PLEASE read the email we will be sending out today on prelims and finals with more information!

Prelim schedule: (There will be practice Tues- Friday in the am the days your swimmer is not in prelims. Practice is only for those participating in prelims)

Mon July 10th 13 & up

Rocky Mountain Swim League Prelim/Finals T-Shirt: Grab your finals shirt using the online store. The order deadline is 6/28.2023 Championship Meet T-Shirt Store Parent Reps will pick-up at the store and get shirts to families.

Swim-A-Lap-Collect those donations and turn them into the red CKST mailbox at the pool ASAP, deadline June 28th to be eligible to win a prize. You can also Venmo Janette Hoskinson @Janette-Hoskinson (last 4 digits are 5603). PLEASE mention swim a lap and the name of your swimmer in notes when paying via venmo.

A huge thank you to all our swimmers who participated in Swim-A-Lap, you continue to blow us away by how many laps you can swim in one hour. A big thank you to Swim-A-Lap chair Kara Harris, she did a fantastic job planning, organizing and executing our biggest fundraiser. To all the Swim-A-Lap volunteers, thank you for showing up and counting those laps or serving breakfast.

New Business:

• Tuesday June 27th 11 & Up Games at Cherry Field 6-8pm, come in clothes you can get wet and gym shoes. NO morning practice for 11&ups on Tuesday. Regular morning practice schedule for 10 & Unders on Tuesday
• Tuesday June Take Out Tuesday June 24th at Yogurtland-  mention CKST between 12-9pm
• 2023 Slide show - Send Your Photos/Videos for the Slideshow by July 1st! We have a password-protected online form to upload your photos and videos for the slideshow. It is VERY helpful if you let us know the names and ages of people in the photos. This helps us ensure that everyone gets to see themselves in the final product. Thank you so much for sending your photos and videos!

Last but not least, our end of year banquet will be on July 8th.

Keep in mind your swimmer can earn two certificates at the end of the season banquet: 1) All Events Award: Butterfly, Back, Breast and Free (for successfully swimming every event in their age group). 2) IM Awesome Award (for successfully swimming the IM for the first time). These certificates are a great motivator for kids, tell your swimmer.
