Good morning folks,

Yesterday was yet another fantastic meet! Homestead Farm was a great host and all swimmers performed amazingly! As always, CKST truly appreciated all our volunteers who worked during the meet - you are the BEST!

THE WEEK AHEAD

JUNE 23 - 29

• Meet #5: Our final meet is on Saturday 6/29 - CK @ Heritage Village ***Declare your swimmer(s) for events TODAY 6/23 at NOON until TUESDAY 6/25 at 10:00PM***

Important reminders:

*NO late entries will be accepted!

*Each FAMILY is required to sign-up for ONE volunteer job per meet in which their swimmer(s) is participating

*Select availability for relays. If your swimmer(s) is NOT able to be at the meet on time or needs to leave early, please indicate this so coaches may plan accordingly when forming relays.

• Family Folders: Don’t forget to check your folder for ribbons and speeding tickets from the meet at Homestead Farm as well as any you may have waiting from other meets!

• ***IMPORTANT!!!*** End of Season Slideshow: Please submit 2 photos per swimmer. The deadline is TOMORROW, June 24 by midnight! We look forward to seeing all the special moments from the season.

• Moonlight Practice: Tomorrow, June 24 we will hold our rescheduled moonlight practices! That evening, each age group will dive right into some fun in the pool with their very own coaches as well as a post-practice treat.

7:00-7:30 PM - 6&U

7:30-8:00 PM - 7-8s

8:00-8:30 PM - 9-10s

8:30-9:00 PM - 11-12s

9:00-9:45 PM - 13-18s

• Take-Out Tuesday: Our last Take-Out Tuesday fundraiser will be at Yogurtland on June 25 from 12-8 PM! Please mention CKST when purchasing your delicious treat!

• 11+ Games: This event will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at 6:00-8:00 PM up on Cherry Field for our older Neptunes (ages 11-18 only). Please wear athletic shoes and come ready to play!

• Pirate’s Cove: It’s finally here! Pre-purchase your wristbands for our annual Pirate’s Cove Night on Thursday, June 27! Remember, the park is closed to the public and reserved just for CKST and The Knolls Swim Team this evening! Also note that anyone is welcome to accompany you! Attendees will pick-up their wristbands upon arrival. Flyer is attached.

• End-of-Season Banquet: Mark your calendar for this very special event following our final regular season meet on Saturday, June 29 at 6:00 PM! Let’s gather to celebrate all our team has accomplished. Swimmers will receive an award and watch a slideshow with a sweet treat. Bring a chair or blanket along with your own picnic dinner!

• Practices:
  • Monday: Moonlight Practice (for all swimmers)
  • Tuesday - Friday: regularly scheduled practices

• Swim-a-Lap Pledges: Pledges were due last Wednesday, June 19. If you still have not dropped yours in the red CKST mailbox near the pool entrance, please do so as soon as possible and let a parent rep know. Thanks to everyone who participated in this fundraiser!

• Championship T-shirts: The online store closes Wednesday, June 26. RMSL will also be selling shirts and heat pressing 1 line of words at prelims and finals.

• Looking for our next Parent Reps for 2025! Katie and Beth will be staying on for one more year, but Amy and Susan are offboarding after this 2024 season. That said, we are looking for 2 more parent reps to jump in next year! Let us know if you are interested in taking on this role and would like to chat about what it entails.
