Good Morning Neptune Nation,
Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to our first official meet of the season! Shout out to our parent volunteers who played an integral role in running the meet - we appreciate you! The final score was CK - 472 / HFII - 295! The final meet results are attached. (Attached Results Below). Our Head Coaches will be sending out their Coaches Corner email on Tuesday, so please keep an eye out for that.
We had 4 CK Records Broken on our 1st meet!!!! Congratulations on these accomplishments:
25m Back - Henry Sundberg w/ 21.77 (broke Cameron Unks 2007 record of 22.20)
50m Back - Milo Hilst w/ 43.60 (broke his own 2024 record of 44.68)
50m Free - Charlie Moskoff w/ 33.62 (broke a 39 year old record (!!) of 34.45 set by Ryan Reed in 1986)
200m Free Relay - Lincoln Lindquist, Milo Hilst, Charlie Sundberg, Charlie Moskoff w/ 2.31.73 (broke the 2007 record of 2.34.79)

- Meet #2: Our next meet is Home on Saturday 6/7 – Heritage Greens @ CK. ***Declare your swimmer(s) for events starting TODAY 6/1 at NOON until TUESDAY 6/3 at 10:00PM***
Important reminders:
*NO late entries will be accepted!
*Please look at your volunteer job and make sure you can make it, otherwise please find someone to cover your role.
*Select availability for relays. If your swimmer(s) is NOT able to be at the meet on time or needs to leave early, please indicate this so coaches may plan accordingly when forming relays.
- Family Folders: Please check your folder on Tuesday for ribbons (12 & under only), and speeding tickets (No Speeding Tickets Yet)
- Take-Out Tuesday: Our Take-Out Tuesday fundraiser will be at Chipotle near Arapahoe High School on June 3 from 4-8PM! Use the code “GIVING25” when ordering online.
- Monday Night Practice: 7-8pm (7-8’s – 9-10’s) and 8-9pm (11-12’s & 13-18’s) Coaches are planning stroke & turn work.
- Morning Practices: Regular morning practices will be held Tuesday 6/3 through Friday 6/7. Practice Schedule
- Swim-a-Lap Information: A note from our wonderful Swim-a-Lap chair, Amy Fouts!
- Wednesday, June 11 is the annual Swim-A-Lap Fundraiser.
- On Tuesday, June 3, look for the Swim-a-Lap pledge forms in your family folders.
- Help our swim team raise funds through pledges, one-time donations, friends and family members support and forgotten piggy banks
- Each age group will swim as many laps as possible:
Please arrive 10 minutes before your time schedule
6:45am-7:45am - Ages 11+
7:45am - 8:45am - Ages 9-10
8:45am- 9:45am - Ages 7-8
9:45am-10:45am- Ages 6 & under
- Swim in your age group and stay (if you can) to cheer on your teammates - breakfast will be served!
- All pledges and donations should be turned in by June 23rd
- Prizes for every swimmer who raises $20 or more! Awards for most laps and most money raised will be announced by age group at the end of season banquet!
- Must raise $50 to be eligible for Most Laps Swam.
