Neptune News - Volume # 5

Good afternoon Neptune Nation,

Yesterday was yet another fantastic meet! Homestead was a great host, and all the swimmers performed amazingly! As always, CKST truly appreciated all our volunteers who worked during the meet - you are the BEST!

The final meet results are attached.

Can you believe it - we have only one week left in the regular season! Keep reading to learn all that’s in store.

*Please think about & signing up for Prelims and Finals*

THE WEEK AHEAD

JUNE 23 – 28

*Thank you for putting away chairs after practice!! Please remember to have swimmers throw away their trash after practice & events at the pool.

  • Meet #5: Our final meet is on Saturday 6/28 - CK @ WCII ***Declare your swimmer(s) for events TODAY 6/23 at NOON until TUESDAY 6/25 at 10:00PM***

Important reminders:

*NO late entries will be accepted!

*Select availability for relays. If your swimmer(s) is NOT able to be at the meet on time or needs to leave early, please indicate this so coaches may plan accordingly when forming relays.

  • Family Folders: Don’t forget to check your folder for ribbons and speeding tickets from the meet at Homestead as well as any you may have waiting from other meets! To receive a speeding ticket, a swimmer’s time must improve by .5 seconds. If for some reason, your swimmer’s time has improved by an amount greater than this time and have met all the other criteria, and they still have not been awarded a speeding ticket, please show Kate Ryan or Amy Nelson, the disparity via Swimtopia.
  • Swim-a-Lap: Donations Due tomorrow, Monday, June 23rd!

Please put your check or cash in the red swim team mailbox at the entrance to the pool. OR Venmo @harakarris (last 4 digits- 5334). Please note your swimmer's name with payment.

All swimmers who raise at least $20 will receive a prize! Thanks again for participating and fundraising!

  • Team Pictures: Monday 8-9:30am at the pool.

To increase efficiency, safety, and offer more creative options for parents, Imagetek will be implementing some changes to picture day. For safety, we are doing away with location risers. This will eliminate the need for a "whole team at once" setup. Kids can leave after their individuals are taken - no more waiting around for the team shot. Everyone does need a picture done, so they end up in the team photo (no obligation to order).

Important: For those needing to leave promptly, simply arrive early and join the queue.

This is a first come, first served format.

All ordering will be done via proofing. You will be able to view your photos prior to ordering.
