WOW, what a week! 71 CKST swimmers participated in Prelims, & 58 made it back for Finals this coming Saturday. This is incredible!! So many of our Neptunes achieved personal best times, & three new Cherry Knolls records were broken: 

-9 & 10 Boys 200 Medley Relay (2:40.34) Milo Hilst, Bryce Nelson, Charlie Moskoff and Lincoln Lindquist 

-9 & 10 Boys 50 Freestyle (32.76) Charlie Moskoff 

-9 & 10 Boys 200 Freestyle Relay (2:29.53) Milo Hilst, Lincoln Lindquist, Bryce Nelson and Charlie Moskoff.

To recognize the outstanding swims by all Neptunes this week, we are doing Speeding Tickets this year for ALL personal bests achieved by swimmers in ALL age groups. Check the Family Folders at the banquet on Sunday!

One quick reminder, when checking Swimtopia, wait until results are "final". Times & places are not official when "results are pending".

We also want to shout out Jessica Gallegos, Erin Dietrich & Russell Cote for going above & beyond and picking up extra shifts this week during our Prelims & Finals meets!

As the end of the season approaches, we have had questions about showing appreciation to our amazing coaches. There are so many ways for families to show our coaches how much they are valued and recognize their efforts this season. Historically, swimmers have made cards, purchased individual gifts/gift cards for coaches with whom they have formed a special relationship, or donated to the communal tip jar. Donating to the tip jar allows the contributions to be evenly distributed among coaches to ensure that all coaches feel equally valued, allows coaches to use monetary contributions towards personal wants/needs (i.e. college tuition, etc.), and provides coaches with greater buying power (versus small gift cards to various establishments).

There is no pressure to monetarily compensate them. They will appreciate any way that your family chooses to show gratitude!

If you would like to contribute to the Coaches’ Tip Jar, you could scan this QR code to deposit directly into the team bank account, or you could drop an envelope with cash or check in the CKST Swim Team mailbox hanging on the pool fence.
