Neptune News - Volume # 3
June 7th
Good Morning Neptune Nation,
Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to our first home meet of the season! Shout out to our parent volunteers who played an integral role in running the meet - we appreciate you! The final score was CK - 458 / HG - 274! The final meet results are attached. So proud of how well our swimmers did yesterday! We especially loved seeing all of the wonderful sportsmanship from our swimmers' shaking hands with their competitors.
NEW RECORD was made!!!
Congratulations to our 11-12 Boys Relay Team: Jake Moskoff, Milo Hilst, Charlei Moskoff & Lincoln Lindquist. These guys broke a 2014 team record on the 200 Medley Relay!
Thank for all of our amazing volunteers that made the meet run smooth and fast - we couldn't do it without you! It was great to see several parents volunteering even though their kids were not swimming. REMEMBER it is not the Parent Reps to find replacements if you cannot make it to your meet job. Per our registration information, it is the responsibility of the volunteer to find a replacement for their meet job(s). Also - Floaters are often assigned to meet roles - so please ensure you are at the meet so we can call upon you if we need you for a job.
*Spirit Team!! Thank you, Jill Holm-Denoma, for team spirit, signs, buddies, theme and 12 & under "gifts".
