NEW BUDDY PROGRAM: MAY 24 MEET-UP
For this year’s buddy program, we have a great group of high school-age swimmers who have chosen to take on the very important roles of Big Buddies for our Little Buddy group, which includes 8 & unders and older swimmers who are new to the team. Big Buddies will help Little Buddies learn about swim team, cheer them on, help at meets, and generally make them feel comfortable and a special part of our swim team.
On Wednesday, May 24, we will have a special Big Buddy/Little Buddy meet-up. Please see times to come meet your buddies.

KIDS-ONLY KICK-OFF DINNER: MAY 30
All Swim Team and Practice Squad members attend this kids only event with the coaches, Tuesday, May 30, at 5:30-7 pm. Dinner will be served, and there will be NO swimming, so no suits required.
ALL PARENT MEETING: MAY 30
Please attend this all parent meeting at the pool Tuesday, May 30, at 6 p.m. during the kids-only kick-off dinner. We’ll review important changes and information for the season and collect two $150 volunteer deposit checks due by that day. If we don’t have your volunteer checks then your children will not be allowed to participate in swim team until we have them. Your team suits and apparel ordered from Out of Breath Sports will be available for pick up. We have new team hats and a few bags for sale.
INTERSQUAD MEET: MAY 31 AT 4:30 PM
We’re excited to host the Wednesday, May 31, Neptunes-only Intersquad meet to give everyone an opportunity to warm-up for the season! This is not an official RMSL meet, so – although we will be timing swimmers – times will not be recorded, no ribbons will be awarded, and no pool or league records can be broken.
All members of the Practice Squad and Swim Team can participate in two individual events and one relay. Watch for the Neptune News emailed Sunday, May 21, with a link and instructions to sign-up for the meet and volunteer jobs by the Thursday, May 25, deadline. Set-up begins at 2 p.m. for the 4:30 p.m. meet start time. If the Intersquad meet must be cancelled due to weather it will not be rescheduled this year. We will end the meet at 7:30pm.
