Note: 13-18 Prelims were held at Sundance Hills which is a yards pool.  All times for 13-18 Prelims swimmers were imported into Swimtopia as yards times since this is how we received the complete 2017 RMSL Championship file from the league.

Prelims consist of four separate swim meets - one for each age group. All 20 teams in RMSL enter swimmers into the Prelims. Anyone from our team is eligible to swim in Prelims as long as they have attended at least 10 practices, participated in 2 regular swim meets and have a qualified time in the events they are being entered into for Prelims.

Please take some thoughtful time to determine if your swimmer(s) will attend Prelims/Finals. DO NOT sign your swimmer up for Prelims if they will not be able to attend Finals. This is very important and especially impacts relay teams. If a swimmer is on a relay team that qualifies for Finals but cannot attend Finals, it affects 3 other swimmers and their performance at Finals. Swimmers for relay teams are determined by the coaches based on the fastest times consistently performed by swimmers during the 5 regular season meets. The relay teams will be announced the morning of each Prelim meet.

Volunteering:

Each family must sign up for one volunteer shift at a prelim meet. If you have multiple swimmers participating at multiple meets, you must sign up for one shift for the week. If your swimmer(s) qualify for finals, you must fulfill an additional shift at the finals meet.
